Friday Favorites {2.17.12}

It's already Friday, whaa? And it's actually a 3-day weekend for Dan, which I had no idea about until yesterday. Nico's school is even closed, but somehow it didn't register with me that it could be a holiday (in my defense, his school is randomly closed at least once a month). Anyway, I'm pretty pumped about this info, and am now set on taking a day-trip somewhere. Dan has a friend who recently moved to Philly, so maybe we'll go up there and stay the night. Or perhaps a day in Richmond? We haven't decided yet, but I for sure wanna do something.

In other news, our neighbors (whom I frequently complain about) are moving out, and I'm not quite sure how I feel about this. On the one hand, we could get a really awesome and quiet replacement family. But, on the other hand, we could get a not-so-awesome (read: loud) clan. I'm really hoping we get the former. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Anyway, here are my favorites...

1. The hubs got me into the band Real Estate awhile back. This song is one of my favorites.

2. Love this post! So much.

3. Elsie's Tips for Great Outfit Photos has some really great advice for nailing your outfit shots!

4. I have been eyeing this little dress for Lola. Wouldn't it be perfect for Easter?

5. I can really relate to this post. Until recently, I, too, had my priorities out of whack.

6. I need to hit up Michael's so I can make this vase and flowers.

7. So excited to see Mandy from Harper's Happenings have her own Levi's commercial. Love her!

8. Pretty sure this was made for me. It should totally be my mantra!

9. I have been obsessing over the Green Your Air plants lately. How perfect are the chevron pots?

10. I plan on doing this scavenger hunt with Nico over the weekend. He loves these things!

Oh, and would you mind voting for us? All it takes is two little clicks.

Vote For Us @!

Thanks! Have a great weekend, frands!

  1. Hey, I just stumbled over here from Pamplemousse and so glad I did.

I'm your newest fan and follower.

  2. Never heard of Real Estate before, but like what I hear!  Can't stop tapping my feet!  Thanks for the share!

  3. At this point, it's probably too late to vote... but I'd say Richmond!!! :) (Ok ok, I live there, so I'm not unbiased, but there are a lot of fun things to do here!!!) Hopefully our snow melts overnight so I can go do some [not exactly needed] shopping!

  4. I liked that song!  never heard of Real Estate before, thanks for sharing!

  5. We didn't end up doing either, but did venture out to MD. We plan on going down to Richmond in the near future, though. Any suggestions for things to do?
