Friday Favorites {8.17.12}

I'm not sure about you guys, but for me, this week went by so slow! Weird because I started physical therapy, which I thought would speed things up a bit. You know, being that I'm actually doing something on the weekdays now. But, not the case. Oh well, at least I finally got to begin PT. And so far, so good! Since we're in such a time crunch to have me walking and driving (would like to be doing both by the time Nico starts school on Sept. 4th), I'm going 3 times a week and then doing a bunch of exercises whilst at home. I'm happy to report that my ankle's already much less stiff than it was when I started Monday, which makes me hopeful that this timeline is possible. I guess only time will tell though. Fingers crossed!

As far as the weekend goes, I'm actually super pumped. A friend's son is having a first birthday party tomorrow, which we're gonna try to make it to + my mama is coming in town. She'll be staying with us till next Thursday night, which I'm thrilled about. We're gonna take Nico to get a fish, as well as start purchasing things to turn his toddler room into a "big boy" room. It should be fun.

Anyway, since time with my mom is rare, I'll be taking most of next week off from blogging.
