Friday Favorites {8.31.12}

This week was a good one, mainly because it included a special guy's birthday. The hubs turned 28 yesterday! It wasn't the most exciting day, as we ended up spending the majority of it at the hospital doing my pre-op appointment for surgery. I had another pre-op a few weeks back, but since it was more than 30 days out from my surgery date (Sept 17th), I had to have a second one (insert annoyed face). The first appointment was easy breezy, but this one was much more in depth and took forever. Since it was 2pm before we got out of there, we just ended up going out to eat and then coming home for cake. Nothing major, but it was fun. We'll hopefully get to do something a little more exciting to over the weekend to celebrate the occasion.

Between Dan having eye surgery (something similar to lasik, but safer - I can't remember exactly what it's called), my surgery, Nico starting Pre-K + everything else going on, the next few weeks are gonna be pretty cray for us. Which is why this long weekend will be GUD. Just what the doctor ordered.
