Weight Lost This Week: 2.5 lb.
Total Weight Loss: 29.9 lb.
Ahh! So close to the 30 lb. mark! But after the not-so-good couple of weeks I've had, I'll take it! I only made it to the gym twice last week because I pulled a muscle in my back (sigh, I'm old) and the little gal was sick (again), but I really did well on my diet. Er, well, at least I did on the weekdays. Which leads me to my next topic: changing my weigh-in day.
I've had a couple of people suggest to me that I change my weigh-in day to Fridays because the weekends are typically harder to stay on track, and I think they just may be on to something. For instance, this past Friday when I weighed myself, I had lost 3.3 lb., but by this morning? I had gained .8 lb. back. So yeah, this might be good for me. But then again, I'm not really sure it would change a whole lot in the long run. We'll see, I guess. For now, I'm gonna keep 'em on Monday. I sorta like the idea of starting the week over fresh on Monday. It's definitely something to think about, though.
Something else I've been meaning to share is the fact that nearly all of my clothes are too big for me now. And the ones that do fit? Yeah, no (let's just leave it at that). So I went shopping yesterday and purchased a couple new things to tide me over until I lose the rest of the weight. I think it'd be silly to buy a whole new wardrobe at this point, you know? Also, when did clothes get so expensive?!
